About us
Keech Hospice Care is a well established charity that runs an adult and children’s hospice in South Bedfordshire. We have 250 staff and 1500 volunteers and our purpose is to care for our patients and to support their families and friends.

About the role
Through the operational delivery of the overarching Fundraising and Appeals Strategy you will work to agreed targets and budgets to promote the work of Keech Hospice Care throughout the community. You will build relationships and maintain strong networks of fundraising supporters and donors in order to increase voluntary income through increased Corporate, Community and Event activity.

Working to high operational standards within your allocated geographical area, you will secure opportunities for community focused supporter lead fundraising initiatives and raise the profile of Keech Hospice Care through specific fundraising appeals and activities.

With supporter centric appeals driven approach to fundraising, you will work with individuals and various groups within the local community.

About you
You will have a strong corporate background and relevant experience of working in a fundraising environment or a successful sales background. The successful candidate will have strong situational leadership skills, excellent people skills, a good sense of humour and be prepared to work some evenings and weekends.
