City AM is seeking a freelance business reporter to work with its news team for part of March and April.

Candidates must have newsroom experience, ideally having worked on business and financial news, and must demonstrate a high degree of numeracy.

Available shifts will be between Sundays and Thursdays, typically finishing around 7pm.

City AM operates a sub-less editing system, so the candidate must be able to write clean, accurate copy that is ready to print.

Experience of Quark Express would be a bonus.
