Senior Football Development Officer – Essex County Football Association –

Job Description
We’re seeking a Senior Football Development Officer to contribute to the strategic development of opportunities across all formats of the game, including mini-soccer, youth, adult, male, female and disability football.
We are responsible for overseeing, promoting and developing local grassroots football and supporting The FA in delivering the National Game Strategy. Applications are now being welcomed before Wednesday 5th June to join our Development Team in Chelmsford.
The role involves supporting the County Development Manager with operational planning and the monitoring of performance against Essex County FA ‘Moving Forward’ Strategy 2018-21 and FA National Game Strategy targets. There will be line management responsibility for four Development Team members and a ‘Technical Lead’ in the

FA Charter Standard and Club Development.
More specifically responsible for development in a geographical area of Mid Essex (covering the local authorities of Brentwood, Chelmsford, Epping Forest, Harlow, and Uttlesford), the successful candidate will develop positive relationships with clubs, leagues and partners to develop full male and female pathways which include disability and recreational provision within clubs.
