Job Description
We are seeking to recruit an experienced sports officer to help lead the Sport Office. You will support the work of the Sports Performance Manager and lead many of the Sports team, including the development and support of the student sports clubs.

De Montfort University is undergoing a huge period of change for sport. Having recently invested over �10 million in sports facilities, there is now a desire to increase and enhance the sporting offer to the student body. Many aspects of sport administration are in the process of moving from the Students” Union to the University, and so there are many exciting times ahead.

You must demonstrate a large amount of experience in the Higher Education sports development sector. You must have a proven track record in managing others to deliver success; you will need to possess the ability to communicate effectively in a concise and confident manner to influence a range of individuals and groups whilst working as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver improved sports team performance.
