Overview:

Nigel Coates is one of the UK’s leading product designers with many iconic designs already in the market. Based in Bloomsbury his studio combines architecture and product design linked with an extensive manufacturing base in Italy. In a new phase, the company is developing its own range of furniture and lighting products. We are now recruiting an ambitious and experienced sales consultant to join our small but highly skilled team. We are looking for someone with strong and successful experience in furniture and lighting sales who is used to working with dealers, and architectural and interior specifiers.

Key responsibilities:

working with the design director to develop a marketing and sales strategy that is tailored to our kind of customer
managing the sales process from enquiries through to preparing offers and invoices
being the key contact for sales
developing excellent client relationships
overseeing our online sales and e-commerce partners
provide sales support at our Bloomsbury showroom and at trade fairs including the Salone del Mobile in Milan

Essential experience and skills:

at least three years experience in sales role in the design industry
proven ability to perform and exceed targets
extensive knowledge and enthusiastic understanding of the contract design marketplace
be well organised with excellent attention to detail
high level of numeracy and literacy in English
