Catmose College is an over-subscribed 11-16 academy based in a brand new £26m building in Oakham, Rutland. We are also sponsors for Harington School, a free school bid that aims to be open for September 2015, offering an academic provision for 16-18 year olds.

Catmose College was graded as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted in all four categories and overall in February 2012. We have outstanding facilities throughout, with purpose built spaces offering excellent teaching resources. Design Technology boasts traditional and modern facilities, including a traditional lathe, welding and hearth equipment, a fix-based router, CAD/CAM pro-laser cutter and a suite of Apple Macs. The College is able to offer a truly outstanding technology-led learning environment with an ethos that values high expectations, excellent behaviour and academic progress.

We are looking for a well-qualified and highly motivated teacher of Technology who has a passion for their subject. As an Assistant Team Leader you will assist the Team Leader in providing leadership and direction for the teams of staff they are responsible for, in line with the strategic objectives and targets as outlined in the annual Transformation Plan.

For an exceptional candidate there is the opportunity to support the development of our Teaching Alliance as professional tutor which carries an additional RP of £3,535.
