KS5 Maths Co-ordinator – Alperton Community School (Upper-school site) – Brent

We are an Investor in People and have Specialist School status in Mathematics, Computing and the Visual Arts. You would join a well-qualified, friendly, committed Maths team with an excellent record at success at KS4 and KS5. Maths is an extremely popular subject within the school with a large number of students progressing to our highly successful ‘A’ level course.

We are looking to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic and highly organised teacher to lead our KS5 Mathematics in our Maths and Computing Specialist School. Candidates must have excellent subject knowledge and a successful track record of teaching Mathematics across all key stages. The ability to teach Further Maths is also a key requirement. You will have a passion for promoting Maths across the school and delivering outstanding lessons.

The successful candidate will be joining a high achieving Mathematics faculty. Examination results at both GCSE & A level are consistently outstanding with our KS2-4 progress indicator putting the school in the top 1% of schools nationally.

Maths is a very popular subject at KS5 with 100+ students in year 11 choosing to continue their studies at level 3. We follow the Edexcel specification and currently offer all the units available for both Maths and Further Maths.
