PE Specialist – Arsenal Soccer Schools South West – Devon

Job Description

We are seeking Fully Qualified and Experienced Full Time Sports Coaches to deliver sport and physical activities to children within primary schools in the South West.

The successful candidate will be part of a professional team of Arsenal Soccer School Coaches, coaching children using the Arsenal methodology, providing young players with an opportunity to develop. The right person will also have the chance to progress and expand their role within the South West Arsenal Soccer School set up.

The Role
You will be working as a Sports Teacher throughout the school term time in local primary schools and must be Reliable, Punctual and Enthusiastic.

You must be able to;
Perform at consistently high standards in a school environment
Be able to plan a range of exciting and engaging coaching sessions and programmes
Set up and deliver high quality sports coaching sessions to KS1 and KS2 children
Develop and inspire young people to become and stay involved in sport.

Responsibilities
To deliver sport and physical activities to children in school curriculum time – following the PE National Curriculum and deliver a range of extracurricular activities- before school, at lunch times, after school and during the school holidays.

Requirements
UKCC Level 2 qualified in any sport (or higher)
Clean DBS Check
1st Aid Qualified
Good communicator and fluent in English – written and orally
Have experience of working with Primary School Children
PPA and/or P.E experience would also be an advantage
Able to travel using own transport

FA Level Two/Youth Module One
Experience in working in Primary schools
To be able to adapted/to be flexible
Full driving license with transport

Desirable
Knowledge of FA guidelines
Knowledge of EPPP guidelines
Academy/Elite Centre Experience
Physical Education delivery experience
Mentoring Experience
Knowledge of the National PE Curriculum
Qualified Teaching Status
