Job Description
St Mary’s University is a high performance centre for sport and aims to maximise student engagement in sporting activity by increasing participation and sporting excellence, utilising the World Class Sports facilities. St Mary’s have recently developed a new Strategy for Student Sport (More than a Game) and aim to become a top performing British University & Colleges Sport (BUCS) institution.

Ladies Football and Rugby League are part of our Performance programme and we are striving to develop a national reputation for excellence. We are looking for passionate, experienced and inspiring Performance coaches to lead our first teams in Ladies Football and Rugby League and to oversee the development of the whole club. The successful candidate will create and implement a high quality coaching framework for all teams and will ensure a performance culture is developed for the 1st team squad that compete in the BUCS Premier Division.

The post is part time for 10-14 hours per week, this includes a minimum of two training sessions per week, matches on Wednesdays and development work. The coach should be present at all matches and therefore needs to be available on Wednesdays afternoons.
