Required for 2015/2016, an enthusiastic Linguist with the ability to teach French across all key stages and the ability to teach Spanish to at least KS4. French is taught in year 7 across the ability range and Spanish is offered as a second language in year 8. You will be responsible for Spanish and Community Languages.

The Languages faculty is successful with strong results. Languages continue to be a popular choice for students at KS4. There is a thriving extra-curricular programme and a range of trips and international opportunities offered to staff and students.

Copthall is an 11-18 girls’ academy achieving ‘good with outstanding’ features in our last Ofsted inspection. The school is located on a very pleasant campus in Mill Hill in North London. The school, which has a comprehensive intake, enjoys very good standards with impressive levels of progress or ‘value-added’ being made by pupils. It is oversubscribed and is expanding in 2016.
