“Outstanding in all aspects” OfSTED 2013
We are proud of our Science team at Lilian Baylis Technology School. At KS3 the Science team has developed a highly praised Science curriculum that engages students through the use of relevant contexts, practical work and project days. At KS4 we offer a full range of courses including GCSE Triple and Double Science. At KS5 we offer A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry and Biology. We have strong links with St Thomas’ Hospital and the Science Museum.
You will be an outstanding Science teacher with the ability to teach Biology to A-Level who is eager to try new ideas in a supportive environment. You will be keen to use and develop a wide range of innovative ways to improve literacy in your lessons through the whole school literacy INSET programme.
If you are an NQT you will have a reduced timetable, support from a leading practitioner and will be able to start, if available, from 1st July 2015
