The broad goal is to help maintain ENDS Europe\u2019s position as a trusted, expert and premium news and information service for policy makers, regulated businesses and others with a professional interest in EU environmental affairs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nMonitor widely for news leads and generate off diary stories<br \/>\nUnderstand and interpret reader requirements<br \/>\nProduce a regular flow of articles and other content<br \/>\nRespect deadlines, length and house style benchmarks<br \/>\nEngage directly with news sources through visits, interviews, conferences etc<br \/>\nResearch stories thoroughly and check facts to ensure accuracy<br \/>\nBe aware of the political and economic context of stories<br \/>\nPositively communicate the ENDS brand in person and through social media platforms<br \/>\nSupport the ENDS brand in other ways as directed by the editor<br \/>\nDeputise for the editor as required<\/p>\n<p>Reporting and relationships<br \/>\nThe reporter reports to the ENDS Europe editor.
