As per FAW Domestic Club Licensing Regulation 3.3 (2), the FIB convenes once per calendar year and is granted the powers to decide whether a licence should be granted to an applicant based on the documents provided by the submission deadline. The FIB also has the powers to withdraw a licence at a later date.<\/p>\n<p>The FIB consists of 8 independent experts covering all areas of the Club Licensing process namely; Sporting, Infrastructure, Personnel, Legal and Financial.<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities<br \/>\nThe successful candidate will be required to attend the annual FIB meeting which is held in April of each year.<br \/>\nTo consider each licence applicant\u2019s submissions in full, in particular, from a legal perspective.<br \/>\nProvide recommendations as to whether a Licence applicant should be granted a licence based on their legal submissions.<br \/>\nTo actively contribute to the FIB discussion on all aspects of the Licence Applicants submission.<br \/>\nTo advise the Club Licensing Manager on legal matters if required.<br \/>\nTo ensure that all proceedings of the FIB are done so in accordance with the Club Licensing \u2018Core Process\u2019, FAW Domestic Club Licensing Regulations, the UEFA Club Licensing &amp; Financial Fair Play Regulations and the rules and regulations of the FAW.<br \/>\nTo act impartially in the discharge of their duties.<br \/>\nTo abstain if there is any doubt as to their independence from the licence applicant or if a conflict of interest arises.<\/p>\n<p>Skills &amp; Competencies<br \/>\nThe individual must be independent of the FAW.<br \/>\nThe individual must have a sound knowledge of UK Law and be a qualified solicitor or barrister.<br \/>\nAn ability to independently consider and analyse various legal documentation.<\/p>\n<p>The individual should possess a sound knowledge of domestic football in Wales as well as association football in general.<\/p><div class=\"wynyp67804f5a72a0f\" ><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\n     style=\"display:block; text-align:center;\"\n     data-ad-format=\"fluid\"\n     data-ad-layout=\"in-article\"\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-5811055133939296\"\n     data-ad-slot=\"8669520966\"><\/ins>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/div><style type=\"text\/css\">\r\n.wynyp67804f5a72a0f {\r\nmargin: 5px; padding: 0px;\r\n}\r\n@media screen and (min-width: 1201px) {\r\n.wynyp67804f5a72a0f {\r\ndisplay: block;\r\n}\r\n}\r\n@media screen and (min-width: 993px) and (max-width: 1200px) {\r\n.wynyp67804f5a72a0f {\r\ndisplay: block;\r\n}\r\n}\r\n@media screen and (min-width: 769px) and (max-width: 992px) {\r\n.wynyp67804f5a72a0f {\r\ndisplay: block;\r\n}\r\n}\r\n@media screen and (min-width: 768px) and (max-width: 768px) {\r\n.wynyp67804f5a72a0f {\r\ndisplay: block;\r\n}\r\n}\r\n@media screen and (max-width: 767px) {\r\n.wynyp67804f5a72a0f {\r\ndisplay: block;\r\n}\r\n}\r\n<\/style>\r\n\n<p>Demonstrate flexibility and the ability to work outside of normal working hours if required.<br \/>\nDemonstrate attention to detail.<br \/>\nKnowledge of the FAW Domestic Club Licensing Regulations, the UEFA Club Licensing &amp; Financial Fair Play Regulations and the Rules and Regulations of the FAW.<br \/>\nThe ability to speak Welsh (advantageous).<br \/>\nThe position is for a fixed three-year term commencing January 2017 with First Instance Body meetings taking place annually.<br \/>\nThe post holder will be reimbursed all reasonable expenses agreed in advance by the FAW.<\/p>\n<p>How to apply<br \/>\nDeadline for applications is 5pm on Monday 12th December 2016.<\/p>\n<p>Applications received after this date will not be considered.<\/p>\n<p>Applications must be supported by a letter detailing why the applicant believes they are a suitable candidate for the post and be accompanied with an up to date curriculum vitae, which should include any current or past involvement in football in Wales.<\/p>\n<p>Applications should be sent to sjones@faw.co.uk clearly marking the subject of your email: \u2018Club Licensing First Instance Body Member (Legal Expert)\u2019.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Job Description Attendance Fee: 250 Euros per meeting, plus travel expenses.
