It funds the improvement of public sports facilities across the country \u2013 especially grassroots football facilities &#8211; with investment provided by the Premier League, The FA and the Government, via Sport England. The Foundation is responsible for the delivery of over \u00a360m of funding each year, in support of a new \u2018National Football Facilities Strategy\u2019, including the exciting Parklife Football Hubs programme. To ensure that the best projects are identified and developed, we\u2019re now seeking a team of \u2018Engagement Managers\u2019 to sit with the Grant Management team.<\/p>\n<p>As an Engagement Manager, you will be working within a designated region, and in close liaison with our experienced teams of Technical Project Managers and Grant Managers. You will be making sure that the right projects are identified against \u2018Local Plans for Football\u2019, which will have the greatest impact in the areas that really need them. You\u2019ll then work with the key project stakeholders to develop the proposal to the point of submission of an application. This role will require you to use your advanced sports development knowledge, coupled with your astute business planning and negotiation skills, to ensure that projects not only meet the new strategy, but also give the best return on the investment.<\/p>\n<p>Two of the available positions will be funded by the Premier League. These roles will be primarily focussed upon Professional Club Community Foundations\/Trusts, and ensuring that a responsive support and advisory service is provided to those seeking to improve existing or develop new facilities to support their development programmes.<\/p>\n<p>This is an exciting opportunity within the Football Foundation to be able to guide and shape facility projects within grassroots football. The successful applicants will be used to managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects working both independently as well as part of a team. They must also be willing to go the extra mile in driving plans forwards to ensure project success.
